Derek and DJ wedding

Last Saturday I shot Derek and DJ wedding and it was the most emotional for me so far. I even cried behind the camera. Since Derek is my friend It was difficult to separate myself from the ceremony and concentrate on the shoot. I wanted to be part of it and greatly appreciate that I was given an opportunity to document this unique wedding. I was interviewed for the Associated Press video-"9-11 Five years later"

From the Associated Press-"Few stories in AP's 160 year history have more severely tested the skill, courage, ingenuity and resilience of the entire organization. The attacks of Sept. 11 were more than a professional challenge. The news literally exploded within sight of AP's New York headquarters and of our Washington bureau driving some staff members from their homes and threatening the personal safety of many others, especially those who raced to cover the unfolding disasters in lower Manhattan and at the Pentagon.

Shortly before the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks, several AP photographers and videographers captured images of the same sites taken in June 2006."
